What a strange time this has been, early on i got involved with For the Love of Scrubs as well as making masks. I made three sets with fabric kindly donated in return for some face masks and they all went off to Lewisham Hospital. It seemed like the perfect time get out my sewing machine and doing something constructive while waiting for the world to go back to normal.
Since then i have been working on making masks for my local community, it seemed something that i could do that would make a little bit of a difference. The first few raised money for the Love of Scrubs and The Transport Benevolent Fund.
When the new rules about face coverings on public transport where made at the beginning of June I got going again only this time raising money The Mayhew. Some pictures below including my beautiful sewing machine.
